BIO

I have been a licensed, practicing attorney in Missouri since 1993.  After law school, I initially worked for some local attorneys, assisting them with a wide variety of cases.

I wanted to pursue criminal defense work, so I decided to work for the Missouri State Public Defender.  While there, I successfully represented clients with a wide range of criminal charges, including homicide and sex offenses.

After almost nine years at the MSPD, I went to work for a St. Louis firm that specialized in defending physicians and other medical professionals in malpractice cases.

It was interesting work and I learned a great deal about civil law.  In 2005, I left that practice to start my own firm.

My practice consists of matters involving DWI defense, criminal defense, sex offenses, traffic law, and plaintiff personal injury claims.

I take care in making sure my clients are able to reach me when they need my advice.  All of my clients have my personal cell phone number.

I often take cases other attorneys avoid due to the nature of the particular offense(s).

I have obtained many dismissals over the years, and have received not guilty verdicts in cases where my client was facing life imprisonment.

In addition to criminal law, I also represent people who have been injured by the negligence of others, such as auto accidents and related matters.

I have obtained successful, and sometimes substantial, recoveries for my clients in these matters.
